FundsforNGOs.org is an online initiative, working for the sustainability of NGOs by increasing their access to donors, resources and skills. It uses online technologies to spread knowledge about organizational sustainability, promote creative ideas for long-term generation of institutional funds for development interventions, improve professional efforts in resource mobilization and advocate for increased allocation of donor resources for building the skills and capacities of NGOs.

In the year 1985-86, the erstwhile Ministry of Welfare was bifurcated into the Department of Women and Child Development and the Department of Welfare. Simultaneously, the Scheduled Castes Development Division, Tribal Development Division and the Minorities and Backward Classes Welfare Division were moved from the Ministry of Home Affairs and also the Wakf Division from the Ministry of Law to form the then Ministry of Welfare.
Subsequently, the name of the Ministry was changed to the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment in May, 1998. Further, in October, 1999, the Tribal Development Division had moved out to form a separate Ministry of Tribal Affairs. In January, 2007, the Minorities Division along with Wakf Unit have been moved out of the Ministry and formed as a separate Ministry and the Child Development Division has gone to the Ministry of Women & Child Development.
Main objectives of the Department of Higher Education of the Government of India can be stated to be the following:
Laying down of National Policy on Education, and overseeing its implementation
Planned development (including expansion of access and qualitative improvement) of:
University & Higher Education, and
with special attention to disadvantaged groups, e.g.
Development of Indian Languages
Scholarships to deserving students
Promotion of Books and administration of Copyrights Act
International Cooperation in the field of Education, including with UNESCO
SPPIS is working on independent pages since 2008 but formally it came into existence from July 10, 2010. And it has already started several pages to promote its workings. And with the help of Milestone Education Society, Pehowa it set up a Centre for Positive Philosophy and Interdisciplinary Studies (CSPPIS), Pehowa (Kurukshetra) .
Milestone Education Society (Regd.), Pehowa wished to establish a centre related to Humanities and Social Sciences. In this regard it established a Centre for Positive Philosophy and Interdisciplinary Studies (CPPIS) in collaboration with Society for Positive Philosophy and Interdisciplinary Studies, Haryana (online)
